Eat-bourne!
With a positive plethora of eateries, bars and pubs, the town has some- thing to satisfy all tastes. Relax at Bistrot Pierre and enjoy the French style menu as well as the panoramic sea views – afternoon tea is popular here too. If it’s all Greek to you, then .gr/eat greek deli & cuisine is the place
to visit, whilst pizza and pasta lovers have several highly regarded venues to choose from. Head to The Beach Deck and, as the name suggests, relax right on Eastbourne seafront. Meanwhile, for those in search of fine dining, try the Mirabelle or Garden restaurants at the Grand Hotel – the former delivering cutting-edge, award-winning gastronomy whilst The Garden Restaurant dedicates itself to serving the highest standard traditional English cuisine.
Time to shop?
If it’s high-street names you want, then The Beacon is one of Eastbourne’s top retail destinations. Parking is plentiful and if you need a break from retail therapy, there’s a wide selection of cafés available to rest awhile. For lovers of a farmer’s market, take an outing to East Dean Village where there’s a bustling market every Wednesday with a wonderful choice of local produce, arts and crafts. One not to miss is the Enterprise Shopping Centre – packed full of independent stores offering a boutique style shopping experience, it’s a delightful place to both shop and eat, and on page nine, Emily Sanders the Centre's Marketing & Events expert, gives you a taste of what you can expect from a visit.
