Barford
The popular village of Barford is conveniently placed for access to the M40 motorway, Warwick Parkway station for access to Birmingham and London Marylebone on the Chiltern Line, Birmingham Airport, and towns including Warwick, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Kenilworth, and Stratford upon Avon.
There are excellent shopping and leisure facilities in the above centres as well as private and state schooling nearby. Barford has local facilities including a primary school, community shop, and post office selling a range of products, community centre, two public houses, and The Glebe Hotel.
The village also has King George’s Field which is an award- winning, free to use sports facility for the residents of Barford. Construction of the fields was a community led project, and now offers the local community a variety of recreational facilities all year round.
Claverdon
The desirable village of Claverdon is situated approximately five miles from the county town of Warwick and two miles north of Stratford upon Avon.
Although the village is surrounded by glorious rolling countryside with its many footpaths and bridle ways, major employment centres are within easy driving distance, as is junction 15 of the M40 motorway and Warwick Parkway Station, on the Chiltern line to London Marylebone.
The village benefits from a medical centre with dispensary, community shop, village football and cricket teams, tennis club, two pubs, thriving parish church and community centre, two children’s nurseries and of course the very popular primary school.
