    Tillingham includes a Church of England primary school, two village pubs, local convenience store, and at the heart of the community, the church of St. Nicholas, which has a long association with St. Paul’s Cathedral, London. It is situated midway between the Rivers Blackwater and Crouch. Rail services can be found at Southminster, Burnham and South Woodham.
The village of Southminster is situated at the end of the railway line and offers a local primary school and a high street with various local shops and facilities.
Woodham Ferrers offers good road links providing access to the A130, A12, A127 and A13 and a railway station which provides a direct service to London’s Liverpool Street station.

Wickham Bishops, Great and Little Totham Wickham Bishops, close to Witham, with mainline
train station to London’s Liverpool Street station and easy access to the A12. Wickham Bishops is close to Maldon, Chelmsford and Colchester. The village offers local facilities including shops and a library.
Great and Little Totham are two villages accessed via the B1022. The area offers the same transport links as Wickham Bishops. Great Totham offers facilities with shops and a pub. Great Totham Primary School offers very good educational facilities.
Goldhanger, The Tolleshunts and Tollesbury. Goldhanger is an extremely popular village close to Maldon. Goldhanger offers two pubs and St Peters Church.
The Tolleshunts incorporate the villages of Tolleshunt D’arcy, Tolleshunt Major and Tolleshunt Knights.
The villages are on the outskirts of Maldon and Tiptree with good access to Colchester,
