Welcome to
Kingston
Kingston sits beautifully nestled in the Downs elegantly overlooked by Kingston Ridge and the West Spur.
This village has always been popular, within easy reach of the A27 to the two universities, but also only two miles
by foot via the Downs or farmland to Lewes.
There is an attractive village green with tennis, football and other activities. Adjacent to the beautiful parish church and off The Street there is the popular primary school, nursery school, and village hall. There are period cottages and elegant houses as well as Wellgreen Lane, Ashcombe Lane, The Street and Kingston Ridge, also houses with large gardens and parking to the popular 1960s development around
the green. Kingston is an easy commute to either Brighton or London, with the excellent Lewes train station (London Victoria 1 hr, London Bridge 90 mins). The hamlets of Swanborough and Iford are attractive and close-by to share in village amenities.
