WHAT DOES CONVEYANCING MEAN?
Conveyancing means the legal buying and selling of property and also includes transfer of equity or remortgaging.
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
Once a buyer is found, the solicitors deal with the detailed enquiries. Once this is sorted a completion date is agreed, contracts exchanged and then, the property and purchase money change hands!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Depending on the chain, it is, on average, 8-12 weeks.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
